Suzanne M. Clark, LPC
Suzanne has a passion to connect families to one another through the lifelong bonds of love and acceptance. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with more than 15 years of experience in the field of adoption and has a personal understanding of current adoption issues. She has personally experienced reunion with her birth family, as well as assisted many adopted persons, birth parents and siblings in reuniting with one another.
Suzanne’s experience provides a wealth of wisdom for Permission to Parent families. Through her vast experience in adoption, Suzanne has had the opportunity to witness many varieties of family issues and parenting challenges, seeing both the success and the failures. It’s through these experiences that Suzanne is able to help families continue to adapt and find success as they create bonds of mutual love, respect and trust.
Through her private counseling practice, Suzanne is also helping potential and current adoptive parents, families with troubled teens, birth parents coping with the loss of their children and adoptees working through reunification.
Pam Parish
Pam is committed to helping families rediscover unity and, in it, find the strength to love one another unconditionally, no matter what. She is a talented speaker and writer who is gifted at helping parents find practical, loving solutions to their parenting struggles.
As the author of our Foundations in Parenting series and a lot of our blog content, she has helped many parents find faith-based insight and encouragement into parenting children of all ages. Pam believes that, as parents, our job is to raise our children so that they can become productive men and women in our society. And, by applying both practical and biblical parenting techniques, all parents can learn how to encourage their children to become the best they can be and eliminate conflict and strife within your home.
She has more than 15 years experience in the field of Marketing & Creative Media, both in the corporate world and in ministry. Currently, Pam serves as the Director of Marketing & Creative Design for Victory World Church in Norcross, GA. In this role, Pam has the privilege of honoring God and communicating His love through a wide variety of communication methods - web, video, print and much more. She believes that everyone should love what they do and find getting up everyday to be a pleasure. She is also a dedicated blogger, finding ways to help others through her own struggles, inspirations and wisdom.
Pam is a wife and mother of three daughters. She and her husband, Steve, have been married for nearly 17 years and consider their daughters as gifts from God. Kelsey, their oldest, came to them through the miracle of adoption at the age of 15 and has been a joy and delight ever since - she is loving and sweet with a love of scrap-booking and keeping up with her friends on MySpace. Kristan came to them through the miracle of birth in 1995 and has been a blessing beyond measure - she is also a talented writer, extremely creative and has a beautiful singing voice. Heather, their youngest, came to them through the miracle of adoption at the age of 11 and is also a gift beyond measure - she is quite the outdoors type with a love of nature and getting dirty, she is outgoing and friendly with a beaming smile and personality that draws everyone to her. The family lives in Lawrenceville, GA.
